They first started building roadsters in their hometown of Muncie, IN. They ran with the Mutual Racing Association before World War two. Bill and Charles Holloway built these roadsters from the ground up. Other drivers drove these cars at the time; Bill was still too young to drive. The Holloways raced these cars most of the time at Mount Lawn Speedway located in New Castle IN. and also at Winchesters highbanked ½ mile, known at the time as Funks Speedway.Racing resumed after the war and at Mount Lawn Speedway once again the roadsters, drivers and fans returned ready to race. Doc Sweigart owned Mount Lawn Speedway. Dutch Hurst was the promoter as well as a few others. I believe that the Sweigart family may still own this track.
