I have always been around racing since I was a little boy. My father Leo has raced karts, Spec Racer Fords, and now actively competes in the Speed World Challenge. There is no one else I can thank more for my abilities and accomplishments than my father. While growing up, and even now, he has always been quick to point out ways to do things better, an over acheiver if you will. Through all the hard times and compliants Ive had, there is still know one else I would have rather had around teaching me the ropes.In April of 2001, the 2nd generation of Capaldi Racing took to the track for my very first SCCA drivers school. After building my first race car, the red 56, we were off to my first drivers school at Waterfordhills Raceway. At the end of the soggy weekend I managed to accomplish 3 things, nothing fell off the car, I didnt hit anything or anybody, and I obtained my race license.
