Gielissen Racing is based in Diepenbeek close to the Belgian Racing Circuit, Zolder. At only 100 Km distance from the Formula 1 circuit SPA Francorchamps.The team was founded in 1998 with the only purpose to help young drivers find there way in Formula racing. Gielissen Racing started in the Benelux Formula Ford championship.In 1999, after only 1 year, the team was already successful. Our Swiss driver Constant van Aerschot finished 3the overall in the Benelux First Division Formula Ford.From 2000 to 2001 we took the time to search for teamsponsors, and developed a new approach to Formula racing with an interesting concept for drivers and sponsors.In 2002 Gielissen Racing will offer the possibility to participate in Formula Ford, Formula Renault and the FC Euro Series.
