As each car signs in at the track, the driver or a representative of the driver randomly picks a “pill” from a bag containing pills numbered from one to 100. This blind pill draw is the sole basis for the lineup of the heats. Club members have no preference over visiting competitors in starting positions.Depending on the total number of cars present CDCRA officials will decide how many heats there will be, how many cars will transfer directly from each heat to the AMain, whether there will be a BMain, etc.
