The MidState Microd Club formerly Cortland County Microd Club offers a unique and exciting racing experience for boys and girls in Central New York. Children aged 518 yrs. learn to maintain and drive microhotrods or microds similar to gokarts, but with more protection for the driver. The MidState Microd Club is a not for profit organization, and a member of the New York State Microd Association NYSMA. Together with other microd clubs, we offer seasonal racing usually April to September at various microd tracks around New York, including Invitational races that allow different microd clubs to come together for larger competitions. Microd racing not only provides a racing experience for children, it also fosters family involvement, driving and mechanical skills, building, and sportsmanship.
