Rally America, a Minneapolis, Minnesotabased corporation, was created in 2002 by longtime rally driver and CPD Rally Team owner, Doug Havir and currently holds the sanctioning and marketing rights to the Rally America Championship.Initially, Rally America’s purpose was to support the Sports Car Club of America’s ProRally Championship with timing and scoring efforts. At the conclusion of the 2004 season the Sports Car Club of America SCCA transfered the commercial and sanctioning rights of ProRally and ClubRally to Rally America, Inc.
