After nearly 11 years, Johnsons Indy 500 will be shutting down this summer due to business decisions by the host server company. With this in mind, coverage of the 2009 Indianapolis 500 will be drastically limited, with only particular charts and lists updated for posterity reasons. No longterm plans have been made regarding the content of this site, but after it goes offline, it may eventually reemerge elsewhere. This has been a labor of love since August 6, 1998, and while admittedly not an eyecatching gem of the web, its research and content has attempted to speak for itself.
