It was truly a lost weekend at Riverhead Raceway this past Saturday and Sunday forcing promoters rbara and Jim Cromarty to call both the Saturday and Sunday programs off. The 2009 campaign will now debut this Saturday evening May 9th with a busy sevenfeature event program. With a steady rain falling and old temperatures at 1:00 pm Saturday the Cromartys decided to pull the plug on the NASCAR Whelen All an Series opening night due to the less than favorable conditions.
